UNICELL HMS EXPANDED MICRO-HOLLOW SPHERES AS ULTRA-LIGHT FILLERS

In addition to UNICELL chemical blowing agents and UNICELL MS expandable microspheres, TRAMACO has recently begun supplying pre-expanded microspheres as ultra-lightweight fillers under the name UNICELL HMS.

The product range includes densities ranging from 20 kg/m³ to 150 kg/m³ and, with average particle sizes ranging from 15 µm to 150 µm, covers a wide range of applications.

UNICELL HMS grades are used, for example, as fillers in thermal insulation coatings, in special coatings or fillers, thermosets, and in the processing of natural and synthetic leather. Thanks to their closed-cell structure and elastic properties, UNICELL HMS grades can be used to manufacture very lightweight products with excellent thermal insulation properties.
