Unicell HMS Expanded Micro-Hollow Spheres
About Unicell HMS:
Unicell HMS are expanded acrylate copolymer microspheres. With particle sizes of 20, 50, and 100 micrometers, these microhollow spheres offer outstanding properties for a wide range of applications.
Use in interior paints:
Adding 8–12% Unicell HMS A20WI to water-based acrylate or styrene-acrylate paints produces thermally insulating paints with excellent elastic and bioinhibitory properties, as well as a low density of approximately 140 kg/m³.
Use in exterior paints:
Unicell HMS A100WI is recommended at addition levels of 5–8% to formulate exterior paints with benefits similar to those of interior paints.
